Welcome To The Worst Idea Of All Time

Well well well, if it isn't Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery, the mad lads themselves. What could two New Zealand degenerates be doing in a place as esteemed as this? After years drifting around the wilderness of the internet, we are excited to announce that we have joined Substack who will house our premium content for you, the good entertainment-loving people of Earth.

When we set out in 2014 we were but two idiotic young men, committed to watching and reviewing Grown Ups 2, every week for a year. Since then we've toured the world, cumulatively spent 584 hours with both Sex and the City movies and even got YouTube to commission us to make a pilot which was potentially so powerful, it destroyed the business unit that commissioned pilots at YouTube(but check it out, it’s good stuff: youtu.be/ebs0C1Wk0gE). Eight years on and we still love sitting thigh to thigh, finding ways to torment ourselves with film and as we are commanded by you, our loyal subscribers.

Substack is the perfect umbrella beneath which we hope to create more of everything. More back-breaking, mentally-debilitating podcasts, more videos of us taking drugs in trees and the even (finally) sharing some of our deranged writing about what we’re watching. This is an exciting new frontier of content creation for The Worst Idea of All Time! As a supporter of ours on Substack, you can look forward:
